Yeah, I know what you mean. Its the same reason why Hollywood has filmed a remake of just about everything in the last decade. I guess when people start running out of ideas, they decide to take the easy way out instead of coming up with something original. Pretty soon, we'll be wearing 90's stuff again and Hollywood will start filming remakes of remakes!

There has been a documented correlation between the fashion industry and the economy. For example, if you research the length of skirts and dresses, the hem is lower in bust or "bear" years and higher in full growth or "bull" years. This also follows the psycho/social values of the generation, for example the anything goes 60s kids became very conservative parents and their children were also conservative. The next generation were more open, hence the low top, high hem, navel out look and the booming economy. It appears we are leaving that now and becoming more sophisticated, time to sell your stocks as soon as the hem line reaches the calf.

Evidently not...this whole 80's thing with leggings and lame and legwarmers and big, striped, off-one-shoulder tops is starting to make me sick. I'm only 25, and I'm looking around stores saying, "I already did this once!"
