I know all the facts, the websites, and the statistics. Does anyone have any personal experience with University of Pennsylvania? Have you visited, attended, or worked there? What is the campus like? Are the dorms nice? Anything else I should know about it? Thanks.

Wow! You taught at Wharton. I'm teaching myself Ecomonics and Business over the summer. I'm almost finished reading "Principles of Economics Second Edition" by N. Gregory Mankiw. Do you have any recommendations for further reading. Are there any good books and textbooks available for purchase over the internet that you taught with at Wharton or that you think are valuable or noteworthy . I'm open to a challenge so don't worry about book difficulty. I can teach myself anything easily as long as I'm interested and I apply myself.

I taught there for three years.

The campus is fairly nice, given the fact that it is an urban campus. The areas to the west of Penn are not that safe -- but the campus seemed to be well patrolled. Philadelphia is a city that has some really nice areas and some pretty bad areas. The campus is near the train station -- so it is easy to get away on weekends.

I can't say much about the dorms, except that there are a few high rise buildings that look nice from the outside.

If you can get in, you should certainly consider going there.

I taught at Wharton. Its business school is the best in the world for undergraduates, and their facilities are first rate. Their students get jobs at top companies. I was really impressed with the quality of students there.
