apart from AXL all are new so i would like to know where are the rest of the band mates came from , i.e. which band and how good are they , thanks

The only new member I can comment on is bass player Tommy Stinson. Tommy was a member of The Replacements until they broke up in 1991. He's done solo work and he's an amazing artist. Actually, The 'Mats themselves influenced so many bands, I wouldn't be surprised if Axl didn't seek him out because of his work with them.
I know, I wasn't a ton of help, but I'm a hardcore 'Mats fan and very few people know of them or Tommy.
