What do you think about a European Union style socio-econimic system in the Americas?

many of you are posting..."no way, it would never work"...please, go to the link! This is a real program that is being rolled out without our knowledge and without congress or the peoples voices to approve or dis-approve of it.

in Texas the road way they are planning is up to a 1/2 mil wide with rail, dedicated truck areas etc. They are going to take thousands of acres with eminent domain. The construction and such has not been finalized yet, but it looks like it will go to a foreign firm who will build it, own it, and take all of the tolls from it.
I am so sick at the thought it makes me crazy. Call everyone senator and congressman you can, and email often to comments@whitehouse.gov Not that they listen but we have to try to stop this crap, if you dont want us to give up our country to the North American Union.

No way. First of all you'd have to exclude Mexico and Central and South America -- they're far enough behind that all they would do is drag Canada and US down rather than be boosted up.
Second, why would you want to burden Canada with us? They're nice people, they mind their own business -- we don't deserve them and they're probably better off without an EU type alliance to the US.

Interesting, but I don't know if it would work. See, the EU is a lot smaller and generally more tight-knit than the Americas.

Why don't they shorten it up to Mexinada. America is falling apart thanks to the "selling-us-outers" in Washington.
