Be honest and not harsh. Let them know its not the lifestyle you choose and that its nothing against them, you just do not condone that in your life.

Tell them not to do it within 48 hours of being around you. That might be an achievable goal for some weed smokers. That's about how long it takes for the effects to wear off to the point that you wouldn't notice anything. If he/she is too regular of a smoker, this might not be possible.

Just tell them and be out. Weed is a drug that can lead up to other issues and you don't want that.

I was talking to a man that was a chronic smoker. He had a job and seem to be someone I could go out with, but that weed smoking was a turnoff to me.

He would carry it everywhere he went. I go so angry at him because what if a police stopped us, we both were going to jail. And I could not risk losing my job and I had to let our friendship go because of it.

People say weed is not a bad thing, but it is illegal to have unless you have a script and that alone gave me the nerve to drop him as my friend.

You say 'I do not want to be with a weed smoker'. How hard is that Britney. Tell him that he has twenty-four hours to leave and not to come back. If you want to give him a week to prove that he is no longer smoking, so be it, but set a definite deadline. After that, you are entitled to ask for police help to get him out if the property is yours or in your name.................

I don't want to be with a weed smoker..... UNLESS you're buying.... HA HA HA.... Do research and present your arguments in a respectful way... Listen and hear from the opponents before reacting negatively or arbitrary to the stimulus you receive.
