He wrote me a song and sang it to me - he has an awful voice, and it was oh-so-cheesy, but the thought was very sweet!

Before we married we flew to Chicago (where he worked years ago prior to our dating, but we knew each other then). He said during those years he'd think of me and how much I'd love wherever he was at the time, or whatever he was doing at the time, or wherever he was eating at the time...or whatever... And that one day we'd go there together. He made reservations in the John Hancock Center's top floor - the Signature Room. It was beautiful, so elegant, and so much romantic atmosphere. Then he pulled out a tiny box with a beautiful diamond and sapphire pendant. A gorgeous piano with some man playing gorgeous music. I was overwhelmed.
The next time was when he proposed...which is pretty usual I guess, but ours was an unusual circumstance. I worked for him about 25 years ago and he transferred to Illinois, we exchanged a Christmas Card every year. My husband dumped me for a teenager. My ex-boss transferred to North Carolina and called me...a few weeks later we started dating...a few years later we married.
Another time, soon before we married, he was running the Cooper River Bridge Run and just before hitting the Finish Line he raised his hands way up in the air and yelled "WILL YOU MARRY ME".... The crowd loved it and I did too.

He made our wedding cake because he was a pastry chef at that time. It was so beautiful...and so meaningful. When I first met him, everyone said if it worked out and we got married that he would make our cake - and it happened! It was a dream come true. Known him now 3 years, been married nearly 1. It is an honor to be with him.

My bf handed me a safety pin with a long red ribbon on it. He blind folded me and then led me to the bedroom. The bedroom was filled with over 50 red and pink balloons. every balloon had a silly little note or something sweet to say. One balloon held a beautiful ring in it. He also took the time to hang little hearts from the ceiling. He also used to warm my towells for me before I got I got out of the shower. every shower...every time. I was a jerk and I lost him. If you have someone romantic now and you love him to death...don't let them go..no matter what.

Yes, the day he proposed, and also when we found out that i was pregnant he said that he was going to love me even more than he already did because i was going to be the mother of his child. And on valentines day this year he got me a heart shaped tin filled with candy and inside the tin was a jewelry box, and inside the jewelry box was a heart necklace from Kay's.. I love him sooo much.

My fiance made me cry by the way he proposed. IT was the sweetest thing ever. That and when he flew us to see my family out of state as a birthday gift.
