All of those products are created by Microsoft. However, it has been proven that blue is a color that makes people think of calm and stability, which means it gets used a lot in a lot of areas.

If you're refering to the blue bar up at the top of the window, that's a Windows thing - they do it to keep things looking cohesive when you have multiple screens visible at once. Can you imagine how ugly things would get if you had a neon purple, blood red, puke green, and acid yellow all right on top of each other? Ew.

because it is one of the corporate colours,and above answers also true blue means calm,and that may be designer idea to resemble blue to windows applications whenever u see blue ur mind automatically thinks of windows,not only blue, all the colours can be used in this way like red & white for coke and blue, red and white for pepsi,floresent green for yahoo answrs.........etc. have u saw maya 6 when it starts thats awesome. nothing good and bad in colors thats all upto designers mind.

It's safe. Try convincing the suits on lime green or hot pink, I don't think it will go over well with them.

it's a nice very welcomming color. it doesn't jump out like other other colors
