Israel why should we care ?

What does Israel have to offer ? what integral part do they play in our well being ? Why do their problems splash our TV screens as if it were happening here in the USA ? Why should we care what happens in a part of the world that is and will forever be lost to westerners.

Because there are alot of rich jews that vote and hold power. We have a vested interest in Israel, in spite of our nat. debt we managed to send Israel several billions of dollars in aide, why?

Israel is a stronghold in the mideast for us and also xtians support the jews now in sharing the holy land.

If the truth be told about how the Israeli's treat the Palestinians all would understand better why they are hated, and why they hate us for supporting them and condone what they do.

Israel is the main reason besides our invasion of Iraq that the Arabs of the world hate us so much.

I would like for Israel to give back the land the Arabs want, and stop this stupid war that we are being dragged into, and stop bombing Lebanon. Hezbollah stop bomhing Israel.

Neither are right and the innocent suffer. We should all care as humanitarians what is going on over there.

That is a very good question. Now I am not on the side of either over there. Buttt I believe there are people over there that we are going to have to deal with today or tomorrow. I will go with today .
