Use Bigelows from Bath and Body Works. My lip are so soft because of it.

Also, you will have to keep changing balms due to your lips get use to it and is not effective.

I switch like every 3 months to give my lips a refreshing. Also, get a lip brush to sloth off excess skin. If you can't find one, use a soft baby toothbrush and vaseline and then apply your balm.

I am sick of carmex and blistex also. :)

Kiehl's Lip Balm #1 - It's Awesome!

Also - Malin + Goetz Lip moisturizer - this is a little on the pricier side ($12 for a little tube), but a little goes a LONG way. I have had mine for over 8 months and am just starting to run out now. The great thing with this one is you don't have to constantly re-apply it.

Neither have camphor, which you should avoid in lip balms. It just dries you out and makes you "addicted" to lip balm because it makes you constantly re-apply. And it doesn't promote your lips' natural moisturizers where the kiehl's and the malin + goetz do.

Blistex

Have you tried the new Blistex Silk & Shine?

It works wonders for me.

Beyond that I would recommend Avon Care Deeply Lip Balm.

All the others that I've tried are to "waxy". I want to moisturize my lips, not wax them like a car.

if you used burt's bees, you might like to try a new one called Savannah Bee. It's sold at Bath&Body Works stores. they have a lip tint product in blackberry that works wonders. not only does it have a lip tint that works WITH your natural lip color, and smell absolutely delicious, but it's thick without being medicated. it stays on a long time and i haven't had a chapped lip since using it.
good luck!!

Burt's Bees is phenomenal. Also, Kiehls is another great option. I have been using both for years and have tried many others, but always go back to those.

Neutrogena Lip Nutrition Honey Rescue Balm ... I carry it in my purse ... won't leave home without it. And it's a great product for kids too ... my 5 year old uses it almost as much as I do!

Neutrogena...you can use it on your hands and lips. But I heard on Oprah one time that being too dependant on chapstick, etc. can cause your lips to become dryer until you cannot stop, as your lips cannot moisturize themselves anymore.
