Fungus or algae growing off the uneaten food, and waste at the bottom of the tank. You need to vacuum your gravel with a cheap passive gravel vacuum once a week.

They are algae that are growing because your tank is either 1) under too much sunlight 2) ready to be cleaned.

could be few things. Worms? if they move at all, could be a sign of too much food going into tank. If it's saltwater...and you have parrotfish, could be their coccoon that they make in evenings to sleep in. What color is it? Anything other than white or clear is likely algae.

it could be extra food that the fish don't eat and also some is from fish using the tank etc.
