If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

you should see a dermatologist....maybe you need to take Accutane.. I did and am on it right now. By the way the treatment for acne while taking Accutane does not last from one month to one year, it is about 5 months to 8 years-there are a lot of stupid people on here.. you should get your facts straight retard. Also, eating certain foods DOES NOT cause acne to flare up, no matter what, that is straight from my dermatologist.. so retard that said that-you don't know everything (or anything) so don't try and tell people what to do when you don't know what you are talking about

First of all ,have you seen a dermatoligist? I had good results with differen gel it's a prescription. I can't believe proactive did not work for you! I used the differen when I was younger and use the proactive now and I love it.You should also do some research online.Good luck!

Accutane. It is the strongest medicine out there. If your a girl you have to be a birth control, due to serious birth defects. Its serious stuff. It literally works, and once you're through with the treatment which can last from one month to a year, you will never have acne again. talk to your dermatoligist about it.

I agree with kayla. Accutane is the atom bomb for acne.

Kat...correction...greasy and spicy foods cannot cause breakouts. The only correlation between greasy foods and acne is if you have grease on your hands and touch your face...you may clog pores. The food cannot produce acne just because of the food type.

It must be something interior. Try to change your diet. Avoid greasy and spicy food. Avoid fast foods and chips. Try using Origins products. Those are the best for all types of skin. Good Luck!

You probably need to detoxify your body if nothing is working. Clean it from the inside out. http://curezone.com/dis/1.asp?C0=23
