Where I'm from its $14.99. Also, yes it is ridiculous, but it is the only way they can make money off it. With music downloading these days, most people dont even have to buy a CD, but just burn the whole thing i.e. Bit Torrent. Most of the songs on the CD are crappy "fill ins" anyways. Use Lime wire.

Try telling that to the recod execs. It's all about getting the most money for minimal effort. Less spent recording and mixing and all that = more money left over.
