Could have been a lot of different things. If it doesn't come back I'd say don't worry.
It could have been something simple like gas or a muscle spasm/cramp.
Or it may be more serious (if it comes back I'd worry about these): cyst (that was a good suggestion from the other girl), appendicitis, kidney problems, etc.

Could have been just gas. Or if you have a history of ovarian cysts or even a family history of them, you could have had a small one rupture. I would wait and if this happens again I would go to the gynecologist and maybe have a pelvic sonogram done just to be sure about having or not having an ovarian cyst.
