In 9 starts last year, Larry Johnson had 1,351 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns. If you average that over a 16-game span you get 2402 rushing yards and 30 touchdowns. Those aren't realistic for an entire season, but LJ could have an incredible year.
LT has only missed one start in his 5-year career and has scored at least 15 times in all but one season. Last year he had 1832 total yards and 20 touchdowns.
If you feel like taking a chance go with Larry Johnson, but just remember that their excellent lead-blocking FB Tony Richardson won't be there this year as he was traded to the Vikings. The safe and sure choice is with LT who is proven and can always be counted on to produce big numbers.

No question LJ. LT just lost his pro-bowl quarterback and has an aging receiving core. Defenses will be stacking the box, he will still do well, but LJ had 19 tds last year and only started 9 games. Look for LJ to have about 1,400-1,500 yds 22-26 tds and 30-40 catches and LT should have about 1300-1400 yds 16-22 tds and about 50-60 catches.

Either one is a an excellent choice but I'm leaning toward Larry Johnson. Still, don't overlook Shaun Alexander. I like LJ because I think the Chiefs will continue to be successful on offense despite the departure of offensive coordinator Al Saunders to Washington. I'm a little concerned about LaDainian Tomlinson's durability; and with the departure of Drew Brees at QB and with an unproven Philip Rivers now at the helm in San Diego, I think defenses will key on LT and stack the line against him.

This is really the question of the year when it comes to Fantasy Football .. and it very well should be, its a tough one ,.. but considering Bree's is no longer with the Bolts, LT will get more touches and more receptions, due to the young QB checking down alot to LT for the safe throw, with the lack of confidence .. LT is an all around player, he will be huge this year.. Get Ladainian over Larry Johnson and then Alexander 3rd ..
LaDanian will have a career year this year.

Well, I think youare safe with either.
LJ is going #1 more because he has the better factors going for him.
No injuries
Good line
Coach who wants to run the ball
LT has better catching abilities, but an unproven QB.
This means they either run more and he may get hurt. Plus more blitzing and guys in te box so it may hurt LT's #'s.
I was happy when LT fell to me at pick #4!
I would take LJ over LT because he plays San Diego and Oakland in week 15 +16. Sandiego plays KC and Seatle!
I like the playoff matchups better!

You really can't go wrong here. LT will see more touches and provided the defense doesn't bring the coaching staff with them in the box, he's sure to put up insane numbers. LJ only played in 9 games last year, but look at what he did in those games, so your best bet is to dance with what brung you

LT is injury prone, and has failed to produce in the most critical part of the season (fantasy postseason)
LJ is younger and more durable, plus will probably outscore LT this year

LT because with a rookie qb in front of him, expect a lot of marty ball. Larry Johnson will no longer be a surprise in the NFL.
