possibly...Try eating home made yougurt daily, may be a few table spoons a day. It helps prevent you from getting a yeast infection. A doctor had advised me a few years ago, and I have not had one since.

If you are on antibiotics for a long time you are more apt to getting a yeast infection after your are done taking them or even during.... Talk to your doctor, they can give you an applicator cream or ointment for it.

One last thing, you can also ask your doctor for the pill that you only have to take once and it will clear it in 1-2 days... I tried it a few years ago and I loved it, not va***al creams and no hassells

Probably. I get yeast infections all the time. Sometimes it seems like the symptoms are not there, but they usually come back. You should get some medicine or see a doc.

You always have yeast and a host of other microorganisms present in and on you at all times. Your immune system, and beneficial organisms, however, keep the harmful ones in check when you're in good health.

(P.S. Sunny is right. Antibiotics knockout beneficial organisms as well, which leaves you more vulnerable to another outbreak. Condoms, even if you use birth control, for 30 days or so after finishing a course of antibiotics are a great idea.)

"aaaaaaaaaaaw yuk!" < I agree! But seriously if you have no symptoms of the yeast infection:

Vaginal itching
Vaginal irritation
Thick, white, possibly curd-like vaginal discharge
Redness, swelling, and/or cracking of the vulvar skin
Burning sensation during urination
Itching of the rectal opening
Pain during sexual intercourse.
etc.

Then it is quite likely that your body has gotten over the infection. With that said there is nothing to stop a yeast infection from coming back. Over 70% of women develop at least one yeast infection during their life and over 40% of women have had more than one yeast infection.

Yes. Symptoms can begin to go away and you will start to feel better, but give yourself about a week or two to "heal" from the actual infection. Good luck.
