my husband does this, and i get embarrased. sometime he does a sucking noise which really bugs me. HELP!!!!!

Not really, but sometimes you have to pick your battles. There are a whole lot of worse things he could be doing in public. Nose picking, wedgie picking, ear cleaning, gonad adjusting. Next time, offer him dental floss (it is annoying to have food wedged in your teeth) and as you are handing it to him say, here do you need to go to the mens room. At this point if MY husband said no, I would give him the raised eyebrow look (but we've been married 35 years at the end of this month. Good luck.

I think it definitely is in bad taste.ha ha Im living in china and here everyone covers their mouth when they pick their teeth after a meal. however they dont seem to mind picking their nose in public.

NO, it is not polite and shows poor manners. Another thing that is poor manners are people blowing their nose in a restaurant !

I dont think it is impolite you mite not like it but you will get use yo it my boyfriend and my dad does it all the time when thay are done eating
