Junior High is very exciting. There's really nothing to worry about as long as you stick with your friends and help each other through it all. As far as decorating your locker, you'll definately need a mirror. You can buy small mirrors with magnets on the back so they stick on the inside. Also, just put up pictures of things that make you happy like family, friends, pets, fave celebs, etc. that way if you're having a bad day you can always see the things you love in your locker. Also, it's fun to make cool drawings of things and hang them up that way it's really personalized. Have fun! And, don't be scared :)

don't be so afraid. teachers will help you for the first couple of days, you should have the hang of it then. As for your locker my sixth grade year i was so confused about how to decorate my locker too. I had all this pink stuff in my locker and everybody thought it was so cute. My seventh grade year i put pictures of family up. And almost every time somebody would walk by my locker the would tell me how much i looked like my mom, and how adorable my little cousins were, or how incredibly "hot" my older brother was.I wasn't placed in classes with anyone I knew from my 5th grade year so I had to meet new friends. As far as meeting new friends in middle school I would ask people how to get to a certain class (even if you know where it is) and just start conversation (which always works!!!) There are not really any "survival tips" for middle school. Just be yourself. Good Luck!!!

Dont listen to the girl who said nobody cares; she obviously wasnt popular in school. Ok as far as surviving.... (Only if you are pretty) DO NOT TALK TO THE NERDS ON YOUR FIRST DAY; you will be label as the nerd throughout Junior High and High School. Your locker: Make it your style but stand out. If you like pink: Take some decorations that would make everything pink and white in your locker. Go to Target or K-Mart for affordable things. Other than that just have fun.

Seriously, I was freaked out too. I got there and a week later I loved it, and felt right at home. Talk to new people, make some new friends. You won't die trust me.
As for lockers, buy some wrapping paper with a cool design and put it up in your locker. Get a locker shelf at a place like Office Max or Staples so you can stay organized. Buy some cute stickers from a dollar store or something. Get some mirrors, buy a few magnets, go through some magazines...anything like that.
Hope this helps, and I hope you like your new school!

Aww..well it's been years since I was in Middle School, but I say just enjoy it. Everything that happens there is a learning experiance and don't be so worried about decorating your locker. If anything, you won't have much time to stand around between classes (My little sister started Middle School last year and told me so), besides, you're there to learn, not try to copy other people. Just have fun, learn, and if you ever feel that you need someone, talk to your teachers or higher ups. Good luck!

Just relax and know that everyone is going through this too. Teachers have been there, and so have older kids. So don't be afraid to ask! As for your locker, make sure it's neat. You might want a colored locker shelf. Posters are great, so are mirrors and a magnetic clock so you aren't late. Another cool thing is colored wrapping paper on the walls! To make it you, put pics of you and your friends, and nice sticky notes they have written you. It cheers you up on tough days to see your loved ones. Some people even put little boxes on the door to catch notes! Good luck!

same problem 2-yrs. ago, i am a freshman this year and you can decorate your locker with a mirror a pen and pencil holder, pictures and these gel clingy things that are totally awesome, just any thing like that and if you have stacked lockers or anything like that at your school, get to your locker first if you have a bottom locker because more than likely you will have stuff dropped on your head!!
