I thought I was pregnant, HTP showed negitives, my period came (5 days late) it has been a little unusual, as far a s cramps are worse, blood is a lighter shade of red. and blood clots are present as usual.
However before my period and the day i started, i had such a bad headache, and no matter wehat i too it wouldnt go away.
Anyways, my question is That, i have schedualed a Blood Pregnancy Test and i want to know when is the best time to go. I am currently on my period. Will that affect the results of the blood test? Will a positive show if i am currently on my period? Will it result in a false reading?

When call for the appointment make sure that you tell the nurse or whoever that you are concern that being on your period or bledding is going to affect your results.... and they will tell you if you should wait or not... good luck.

No; being on your period will not effect your test, they take blood from your arm.
