Seeing that LOTR would be an obvious answer..I think the Toy Stories are one of my favorites. I also like the Harry Potter movies. They are fun, and the kids love them...and I have to watch them over and over and over and over. LOL

Nobody has mentioned Indiana Jones. I actually have a greater affection for Star Trek, but more as a TV series than as movies. Indy is exciting with some classic action set pieces, funny, Harrison Ford was never better, and I like films set in the 1930s. My third favourite would be Star Wars.

There have been a few good ones but my absolute favorites are the Once Upon A Time In China films starring Jet Li as Wong Fei Hung. Li is great in them and they are really entertaining to watch!

Definitely Star Wars although the last 3 blew. Or is it the first 3. Episode 1, 2 and 3 is what I mean.

I like all the Monty Python movies, simply because they are funny as hell. I especially like Monty Python and the Holy Grail. One of my favorite movies of all time!

The Billy Jack series...

Born Losers 1967
Billy Jack 1971
Trial of Billy Jack 1974
Billy Jack Goes to Washington 1976

Because of the important messages of the films.

The Kevin Smith films:

Clerks

Mall rats

Chasing Amy

Dogma

Jay and Silent Bob strike back

Although. in my opinion, chasing Amy is the weakest film of the bunch.

LOTR is my favourite. It is just so well produced and the cast are fantastic( Liv Tyler with elf ears. Yes please.) Andy Serkis who plays Gollum is fantastic and the special effects are amazing. I hope that theymake the hobbit aswell that would be brilliant.

If you havent read the books I suggest that you do because they are equally as good if not better.
