My own homestate - Minnesota! Where in fact there are actually more than 11,000 lakes, but that might look silly on the license plates here. Also where the state bird is a loon (or maybe the mosquito - depending on who you ask!)

Ya, sure, it's Minnesota.

In the summertime, it's the land of 10,000 mosquito infested lakes, too. In winter, the land of 10,000 ice cubes.

Also the state of 10,000 water towers. I would know. But a bit of trivia... anyone know why the LA Lakers are called that, and why their colors are the same as the Vikings?
