how do I save to my desktop?

rightclick the item you want to save...click on "save as", in the dialog box you get a choice in where to save: "save in" you choose desktop...and its done, easy.

It depends on what you are saving, but normally when you have a save dialog the option jump to the area you want to save would be on the left. And, one of thoese areas woyld be the desktop.

Hit File for one. Then Send.

right click while pointer hovers over your desktop, click on refresh.
