Yes. It's a fact. And why is it that so many say that there are no religious wars?

The answer is not as simple as some people would like to believe. This continous state of war that you mention has not always existed there has also been peace for hundreds of years. The present crisis is due to certain policies that involve many parties including the UN and Britain as well. The present area of conflict was ruled by Britain prior to 1948 and the British government promised both the jews and arabs a homeland and then many arabs living in present day Israel were displaced when the State of Israel came into being in 1948. This resentment has lingered since then and all the violence with claims and counter claims. Then the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982 also caused Hizbollah to become a major force. During the times of the Ottoman Turks who ruled over Palestine prior to the British this place was largely peacful. During the times of the Crusades in the tenth and eleventh centuries many more Jews were killed by the Christians then the Muslims who lived largely in peace with their Jewish neighbours. So, there are may factors which contribute to the violence in this region, it will take many pages to answer it and I think this is not an adequate form

It's an old fight that goes back thousands of years, and those who think that this thing started in 1917 when Israel was given BACK some of it's land, haven't studied enough history. In the 20th Century, the UN came up with a compromise, Israel agreed, but surprise, surprise, the Palestinians didn't. The fight with Lebanon is about rooting out a terrorist organization - Hezbollah. Neither the Lebanese people, government, nor even it's military are being bomb, they are only going after Hezbollah strongholds.

Nutcases like Iranian president Ahmadinejad.
During the crackdown on universities in 1980, which Khomeini called the “Islamic Cultural Revolution”, Ahmadinejad and the OSU played a critical role in purging dissident lecturers and students many of whom were arrested and later executed. Universities remained closed for three years and Ahmadinejad joined the Revolutionary Guards.[citation needed]
In the early 1980s, Ahmadinejad worked in the “Internal Security” department of the IRGC and earned notoriety as a ruthless interrogator and torturer. According to the state-run website Baztab, allies of outgoing President Mohammad Khatami have revealed that Ahmadinejad worked for some time as an executioner in the notorious Evin Prison, where thousands of political prisoners were executed in the bloody purges of the 1980s

It is not the most religious place in the world!!! They are at war because of old grudges...look it up and you will be surprised as to how far back this goes...it all started when the Jewish community had no place to go a settled in what was at that time Lebanese territory.

You answered your own question. All religions think their right but I think religion Is smoke and mirrors. The religious people are in need of a crutch to help them survive. Great question, you deserve 10 points.

TO SIMPLY ANSWER YOUR QUESTION THEY HAVE BEEN AT WAR FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS, SINCE BEFORE PERSIA.THE MAIN REASON IS THAT ALL RELIGIONS BASICALLY ARE THE SAME WITH INTENT, DO GOOD, DON'T KILL, RESPECT ONE ANOTHER, FOLLOW GOD'S TEACHINGS. HOWEVER, IN ALL RELIGIONS YOU HAVE FANATICS AND MODERATES. THE FANATICS WANT TO CONTROL NOT ONLY THEIR RELIGION BUT WANT THE WORLD TO ADHERE TO THEIR TEACHINGS, SO THAT THEY CAN CONTROL; PEOPLE, IDEOLOGY, FREEDOM AND HAVE A TOTALITARIAN STATE. THE FANATICS DON'T KILL BY
THEMSELVES, THEY TAKE THE EXTREME POOR AND UNEDUCATED AND BRAIN WASH THEM, IT IS PRIMARILY THE SAME SCENARIO AS THE "PIED PIPER OF HAMLIN".
THE REGION OF THE MIDEAST HAS BEEN BASICALLY FOR
THOUSANDS OF YEARS BASED ON TRIBAL/NOMADIC PEOPLE WHO MAY LIVE IN THE SAME AREA BUT HAVE DIFFERENT RELIGIOUS BELIEFS AND THE MANIACAL RELIGIOUS LEADERS THEY HAVE IN CONJUNCTION WITH
POLITICAL LEADERS, DON'T WANT A FREE STATE THEY WANT TO CONTROL ALL, INCLUDING THEIR OWN PEOPLE.
YOU'LL NEVER SEE A RELIGIOUS CLERIC OR POLITICAL LEADER BECOME A SUICIDE BOMBER. THEY ARE AS OTHERS IN THE WORLD, PEOPLE WHO WANT THE POWER TO CONTROL AND ARE FANATICS.

Looking at the question's spelling I sincerely hope that you are not English either!
What is it with this type of question? You must have heard the answers ( or what many consider to be the answer) God is perfect but alas man isn't!

That's why religion has always been supported by kings and Queens. It gives people a feeling of superiority (because they have the "right" religion) and they have a "reason" for war.
