the "x" button on my PS2 controller sticks when I press it. Is there anyway to "unstick" the x button?

Ummm well, you could try cleaning it. Sometimes stuff gets in there. Assuming that you can get the button to pop out, I would take some rubbing alcohol and use an old tooth brush or something that will get into the small gap around the button. Give it a good cleaning. (Be sure to unplug the controller first.) Good luck!

Yes! get some of that electronic cleaner foam. you can find it in office max or staples...just as if you were to have a sticky keyboard. It's like a foam that you just spray it on the controller, let it settle, then wipe it off.

have you tried using a tissue and a needle to remove whatever is holding it down
if that dosnet work you can pop off the button using the same mannor
if you know you controlors it will be able to be put back on

I would consider just buying a new controller. They arent that exspensive and you feel good cause you just treated your self. Give that controller to your friend when you play a game toghether.
