Why is it that people now a days are looking for a handout and not working towards things in life...........

i am a single mother who was refused any help from social services because "i make to much" i am struggling to make ends meet and only recieve a court ordered $10 a week for child support. on the other hand i have a friend i went to school with who has 3 kids all by different fathers and she is a prime example of our tax dollars hard at work. she has worked maybe a week scince having her first baby, has a house that is paid for all her bills are paid, etc...which just goes to show how screwed up the system is!!! i prefer the work for what you want method, at least then you know you earned it

I agree alot of people are mooches & it totally ticks me a\off...Not only by the state but just recently my ex who also has kids use to take me out all the time i naturally thought he was paying with credit cards. It turns out that it was cards that his family was buying him like those gift cards for the food places. I didn't think twice about it I was like w e maybe it was gifts. Then come to find out his mom was buying all his kids clothes. His dad was buying like 80% of the food in his house. Ever week his mom would spend a day with his kids & leave literally $100.00 bills for him. It totally disgusted me not because I was jealoud because he would always make a point to tell me how hard he works for everything he has. Its like bullshit!

Because minimun wage is blasphemy, and believe that most people have had it with being slaves for a buck.
