All that I can think of is this, he likes you alot more then he lets on. But I would be really careful how you act towards him, he might take it the wrong way and there is no telling what he will do then. If you don't want to talk to him about it, then just avoid the conversation, if it happens again just make up a reason that you have to get off of the phone. I hope that I helped you.
