Its fake; its all scripted

It's fake, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. You can tell when they punch and stuff that it's fake. But, you can't fake hitting someone over the head with a chair. They end up with so many injuries it's ridiculous. I think some of them are better athletes than most professional ones today.

First of all, it's the WWE and has been for quite some time. As to your question; the fighting is scripted but that doesn't mean that what they do isn't still dangerous. It might be fake fighting but it's produced a lot of real injuries, just ask Mick Foley.

Sorry it is fake. When I was with the Alberta Games in 1975 I had a chance to talk to the wrestlers and it is all fake. No one wants to get hurt. All show biz.

Its all fake but people do get hurt

its "fake"
meaning punches and kicks and stuff pulled if connected with at all.
people do get hurt, as accidents do happen, but lets face it, hitting someone in the face with a hammer wouldn't leave them getting up moments later to start striking back like it hadn't happened.
of course their jumps and stuff are real, its not like there are invisible wires they are using.
on an interesting note - i had an RA in college who got fight ric flair one night after the guy he was suppose to was sick. (this was back in the early 90's) my RA was a rather large guy and acting as an assistant at the coliseum, they dressed him up in yellow tights, ran through a script with him a few times in the back and then sent him out to get pummeled.

First it's the WWE (They had to change it ) and it is fake. Fights are scripted and they have to pay each other to become the champ.

The answer is both. Falls are real, some kicks and slaps are for real. It is obvious that many manouvers can´t be done with coperation of the person who seffers it.

But the results, those are predetermined.
