To have something notarized, you will have to see a notary public. Some banks have them but not all. Look in your local phone or online to find one. The ones in DC charge $2 per document, they are not allowed to charge more.

A bank is your best bet, they usuallly have a notary public there and they can issue you a Cashiers Check. They may charge you a small fee for the notary. Call first.
