Its usefull for cricket lovers but not for cricket players

For cricket lovers, the 20 -20 cricket is not at all useful.
It is really exciting for the cricket viewers.
The difference between viewers and lovers is that viewers watch cricket just for entertainment but lovers will learn the tactics of how to play cricket by seeing.
The 20 - 20 version is not good as when it is held, the only thing any batsman will do is to hit each and every ball. Then there will be a time when the bowler thinks when my quota of 4 limited overs. Then the effeciency of the bowlers will be decreased rapidly. This results in bad bowling attack of India. The other main reason is the one who want to learn skills by seeing the match can never get the exact game.

20-20 cricket is more of a strategy to capture new spectators than to impress cricket lovers. A average cricket lover will love to watch a 5 day test or a one day match with equal enthusiasm. But to capture new spectators and to create cricket lovers 20-20 would be use full. With 20-20 the game of cricket will become exiting but cricket will be reduced to a game where the bat is swung by the batsmen and the ball is slinged by a bowler. stratergy and consistency in the game will be reduced drastically. Thus 20-20 will only help in getting new market than be useful for a true cricket lover.

20-20 was brought into play due to the longevity of the one day games and the test games which are not favoured by the the new cricket enthusiast to sit for one day and and watch a match, in the other hand 20-20 is only for three hours and gives a more football atmosphere, so i guess that's the reason.

NOO...not at all...its not cricket...for all those who love cricket cant love 20-twenty coz it just offers idiotic hitting with less snse...the beauty of the game lies in test matches...u cant judge a cricketr in 20-twenty matches...well there is no greatewer thrill than test matches!!! hope that 20-20 gets stoped at the international level...it will ruin the beauty of the game
