Will a 2004 seat fit on a 2000?

Harley sportster 883. Need a seat for a 2000. Will any other years fit the 2000?

I think up to 2002 or whenever they changed to rubbermounted should work...Can you try it out before you buy it? That is what I did. It should be the same seat...but the only reason I think it might not be would be because the 04 is rubber mounted engine and the 00 is solid mount...which might also have some changes in seating bolts too.

Its a Harly, paint a different colour and you have a new bike. almost any seat from any year will fit, they dont really change much, just swap parts around for 'new' models
