I can be dressed up, full make-up, skimpy clothes or in my work uniform, v. plain, barely any make-up, jewellery, etc. and I get the same response if I have not make-up, sweat pants and a T-shirt....

It sounds to me that no matter how you dress or how much make up you put on, you are quite a "Chick" meaning the boys think you are very pretty. So when a guy says "not bad" he actually means "very good!" By the way, I should be so fortunate.

strange that thats the exact same response from EVERYone all of those times... but it means youre not completely unfortunate looking, which im sure you know, you just wanted everyone one here to boost your self-esteem a little bit. understandable.
