the radeon x550 is a power hungry card, and it has probally accumalated a lot of dust and muck in the fans
carefully remove the card and use a make up brush(thats what i use,my wifes)and dust in between the blades,it could also be the bearings in the fan assembly, but if this is the case you will have to get a pro to fix it
it may not be your graphic card as i thought i had a noisy cpu fan and it turned out to be a loose screw in the motherboard causing vibration,so check all screws and fittinigs
good luck

Usually it's the fan that makes this buzzing/humming noise. You might want to see how the wires around the fan on the graphics card are laying you might have a wire slightly hitting the fan blades. Other than that, sometimes you can get the sounds if your power plug on the graphics card is not plugged in all the way.

You might want to look into getting a pci fan system to offer additional cooling to the graphics card.

I have a Radeon X800 XT Platinum 256 MB for a year and a half, and it's failing as well. When I play games my computer restarts, and it seems there is overheating.

Your card is probably making that sound because there is an electrical problem, or if the card has a cooling fan on it, it's probably the fan.

Well i had this problem of noisy card.. i exchanged it with G-Force 6200, the unique thing is the fan has been elimiminated and only a heat sink is provided which makes the card silent and it does not overheat... i play like for 6 hrs at a stretch... not a glitch!

It has a fan maybe a wire is bouncing off the blades... or there is some dust accumulations causing an unbalance...

Maybe the cooling fan on it,that is the only moveing part. Take it back and get a new one.
