It can happen. My best friend married her husband when she was 15 and he was 16. He went into the military to support the family. No pregnancy. They were just "in love". They are in their mid 50's now and still as in love as ever.

My son has had the same girlfriend for a year and a half. They met when he was 15 and she was 14. Her parents met in sixth grade and became boyfriend/girlfriend. They have been together ever since. They had their first child at 25. They have had two more since. They are now in their 40's and seem as happy as can be.

I went to a wedding on New Year's Eve. My neice married the only guy she has ever dated. They have been girlfriend/boyfriend since second grade! They both went off to college, graduated(while maintaining the relationship)and got married.

I know of several other's who have similar stories. I guess it can and does happen. I cringe to think that my son has already met the girl he will spend the rest of his life with. Not sure that will happen. They are just so, so young. Still, this girl is a wonderful girl from a wonderful family and I feel pretty sure that he will never meet anyone better suited for him. If he decides this is the girl for him, that's fine with me!

Anything's possible, but if you meet that young, I'd advise that you dont marry until you're at least 21. If you're truly in love, there's no hurry to marry....is there? That may seem like a long way away, but if you plan to spend the rest of your life together, what's the difference if you wait 5 years? You'll have a chance to grow and figure things out for yourself. Go to college. Grow intellectually and become a better spouse. Ask yourself where you want to be in 10, 20, 30 years...and how do you plan to get there? Think about it.

Only the 16 year old boy know that. If its you, you need to remember that yes, right now you probably love her and feel that way, but in several years it really can change.

no, it's not. It is though very doubtful. I have many friends that have been together since they were teenagers, but they have always ended up cheating on each other. I'm not saying that you'd do the same. But I wouldn't rush into anything. If you love the girl then okay but honestly try and injoy your teenage years too.

I think it is possible. I know a couple that they met around that time and they got married recently. I believe he was 19 and she was 20 or something like that. But they did break up at one time, because they took each other for granted. But it wasn't long before you heard they were back together and they moved their wedding date up.

Yes, you are going to change so much and grow. You have so much life ahead of you and you will not be the same person forever and neither will she. If she is the one, it will happen in the future.

This is BS. Boy concentrate on your studies and career now or you will become poor and homeless. And no woman will come to you if you are poor. LOL i wondered why so many people end up ruining thier lives and now I know why

No, you just learned to drive. How could you possibly know if you should be with someone for the rest of your life. She might snore, pick her nose, fart, have bad breath. Smell like fish, you never know.
