Is he going to retire or is he going to play for Argentina in the next World Cup?

He is young enough now at I think 28, to be playing in the 2010 World Cup.

He will play in 2010. Why will he not play? Argentina needs him together with Messi and Tevez. People always say:

"Argentina is Riquelme", Jose Pekerman also used to say it.

well Argentina will be built around Messi come WC 2010 so you never know what will happened. i love Riquelme but i didn't really love his play this WC, it is possible he would play cause he will only be 32, but their is some other young talented players that are coming up and will be great also so i don't really see him there or as a starter come 2010 WC.

each 4 years like the Olympics. 2014 brazil, 2018 in Russia, and 2022 is in Qatar. And in between WC there is tournaments for each area of the the international(for worldwide communities) like uefa(Europe) euro2008 and euro 2012.

Yaa off course.He know how to control the game.Argentina need him,because u don,t have such great palymaker in world football now a days.

he hasnt mentioned anything about retiring...and he seemed to be in good shape during this world cup.

im confident he will return in 2010 and kick some butt!!

He wont play for sure. Basile doesn't love him. Messi, Aguero, Gago, Tevez are taking over

i think so he was fit as a fiddle so he shuold be that in 2010
