two people I know have been on gameshows

One was on a show some years back called Let's Make a Deal and won a set of living room furniture and a bunch of patio stuff that she had to sell in California because she couldn't afford to have it shipped back to Texas

And the other friend was on the Family Feud about three years ago and only won some kind of consolation thing amounting to about 1000 usd's

Well, not a gameshow, but The Jerry Springer Show!
They were given a script to follow, $50.00 each and their plane tickets and hotel were paid for.

My ex-bosses, wife (who worked with us) was on "The Big Spin" for the California lottery

on of my professors was on jeopordy about ten years ago. And i had an aunt make it on the Price is Right.
