The occult is about one thing—power from or communication with the spirit realm.
Occultists and New Agers are versed in communicating with the spirit world—exactly where these "aliens" originate.
So associating UFOs, aliens, and the occult together is a no-brainer. The outgrowth of the UFO phenomenon is doctrinally rotten. It lines up again and again with the world of the occult—not with God’s Word.
Even without integrating biblical understanding we see that both New Agers and UFO researchers concur, that there is indeed reason to believe that UFOs actually originate from another dimension and not from other planets or galaxies.
I find it interesting that the common denominators appear to be a belief in angels, UFOs, and the occult. To me, this is just one more confirmation that aliens and demons are one in the same.

I've never heard that they were. Aliens are in a different league than the occult. There are no demons. What? Now my head hurts...

First off...I'm not even *giving* any respect to your little-lamb evangelical rantings here.....if you are going to discuss something with the grown-ups, *don't* insult our intelligence with your religious terrorista wannabe ishkabibble, ok??

Second....at face value, the first, oh, *sentence* of your question does have some slight merit. Yes, even a retard like yourself can get *lucky* and ask an intelligent question in spite of all your bleatings to the contrary.

So...linkages between UFO phenomena and "the occult" as it exists on earth....

--It could well be a chicken and egg question. You assume the "occult" comes first. What if it didn't? :) Could our "occult" understandings be based on a mythology heavily influenced by *prior* historical alien presence that we just *wouldn't have understood* any other way back then? Think please. Suppose you had to explain, oh, the origin of the whole universe in less than a day's time....to an illiterate 2000-year-old sheep-herder who understands "baaa-aaaah" better than just about anything else under the sun. How would you do it? Would you actually start with the big bang? Or would you tell him a *fairy tale* in his own language in terms *his own culture* could understand?

Likewise....maybe the "myths" and "occult" you bash so much may well be an unofficial history, poorly translated for the dumb primates, of previous alien encounters. :P

--And.....even if the first point holds no water, consider. If you wished to *hide* your presence from the locals, to the point that even people who have SEEN YOU instantly get discredited, what do you do?

You convince local scientists, such as they are, that you can't possibly be real, that your "witnesses" just saw the moon or a reflected street light and *were that damn retarded*.

You convince local moral and faith leaders that you can't possibly be real, that all of this is a HOAX OF TEH SATAN!!!! or some such. Really. This is the same *exact thing* that was used to discredit women's social rights as persons during the Salem "Witch" Hunts, and the same exact logic that got Galileo Galilei *imprisoned* for life for daring to believe the heresy that "this earth, it might just be ROUND.....and orbit the SUN instead of the sun orbiting the Earth".

And you put pressure on folks of the *exact same sort* you use, personal attacks, peer pressure, ridicule, to convince them that any "witnesses" are in fact not only insane but also a "threat to self and others" and therefore *open season* for those who wish to attack and abuse them....

In plain English....THANK YOU for being such a good little PAWN of theirs, I am sure your check is in the mail. :)

BITE ME!

(leave it to a damn fundie brain-dead slab of meat to *ruin* a perfectly interesting question)

*sigh* No. Aliens and Demons are not related. Demons do not exist. Earth Spirits, who have been here since the formation of the world, and never had human form, DO exist. They masquerade as "Demons" because it amuses them to do so. They know NO allegiance to ANY religion. They pick from your mind, whatever suits them to scare you.
Angels, are these SAME earth spirits, interacting in a way we would consider "good." SO they end up classified as Angels, rather than Demons. Same entites. Whatever mood they are in on any given day, denotes how they will interact with living folk, if they choose to do so at ALL.
Aliens, may come from other galaxies. Their understanding of the (physical) laws of the universe, far outstrip ours, tending to give them technological abilites that may APPEAR to be supernatural, magical or occult in nature.

That's an interesting idea, but since there's really not any strong evidence to confirm the existence of aliens or the concepts that comprise "the occult" it's probably best not to try to draw any definitive conslusions. If god's word is all you're concerned about, why not just stick to that and not worry about whether aliens and demons "really are" the same thing or not.

Why would you insist that aliens are related to the occult? When little or no verification between the two are known; how can you base a conclusion upon a myth? We must not believe that we are the only human species in the entire earth. When God created earth, he also created other planets. If those inhabitants are not seen with your human eye, that still gives no reason to call them aliens. Who knows, we could be aliens to them.

You're right, you have no brain! The two thing that you're talking about have NO connection. It's rediculous to think that with all the billions of suns in the universe, that surrounding them are NOT any planets that are inhabited by some other life forms. With only two theory's popular about how life developed on this planet, any none of them proveable, how can you say that if God made everything, he was so narrow minded as to NOT inhabit other worlds of his making? And if that possibility exsists, why do you think that life on THIS planet's evolution is beyond that which may exist elsewhere.
The occult thrives on the afterlife of those who lived on THIS planet, whether recently of in the distant past. There is no belief that those who belive in such things are trying to contact beings from another planet. Get your brain in gear. It is better to keep one's mouth shut, and thought stupid, than to open it and remove all doubt!

The occult and UFOs are jammed in together with things that are not accepted as "conventional wisdom." They are outside the normal beliefs of most of society, and therefore are put under the label of "crazy theories" or "witchcraft".

People who believe in the occult (as you seem to mean it -magic, psychic phenomena, etc.) are by definition more open to beliefs that aren't accepted as "conventional wisdom." Therefore, they are willing to accept the possibility that whatever force created the Universe wasn't content to settle for just one form of sentient being on one tiny little planet on the fringes of the galaxy.

Just because it isn't in the Bible, doesn't mean it isn't true or that it's evil.

Mankind tries to find explanations for everything, and when he can't come up with an explanation, he makes it up. UFOs, aliens, ghosts, psychic phenomenon and so forth are all misunderstood, so there is no real answer. Since mankind enmasse is also totally uncreative, they lump everything they don't understand together.
