I wanted to know because I want to buy the Legend of Zelda:Twilight Princess without having to buy a new system.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is being released in two separate versions one for the Gamecube and one for the the Wii. The only difference between the two versions is that the Wii version will take advantage of the unique motion sensitive controller. Both versions will launch simultaneously on the Gamecube and the Wii. Before you make your decision on which version to buy remember that the Wii will be under $250.

sure Wii and gamecube video games in superb condition. you will want your gamecube controller and memory card in spite of the shown fact that because of the fact the wii is back enjoying the discs. The wii distant,nunchuck and classic controller are actually not nicely suited with gamecube video games.

You will have to buy the Wii if you want to play the Twilight Princess. The same thing happened last year with the playstation 2. Companies want your money, and making you by a new system is a good way to get it.

The new Zelda is actually a GameCube title that has special features for the Wii, so yeah, you don't need to buy the Wii to play it.

Wii games only play on the Wii, but Gamecube games can play on the Wii.

Wii is backward compatible with gamecube but gamecube is not backward compatible with Wii
