Seahawks had more yards, more first downs, less turnovers, and a better QB rating. Yet they lost. The only explanation is the refs stole the game by horrendous calls. They should replay the game and drug-test the refs beforehand (and also make sure they weren't on an all night drinking binge the night before).

As an aside, do you think the refs threw the game for the mafia? The mob could have made billions on a thrown game. That really is the explanation that makes sense.

I definetly think so. Those refs made some pretty bad calls. Seahawks are a much better team.

The only people who robbed anybody of anything were the Seattle players. Good teams overcome the situations in front of them. Do you remember earlier in the playoffs when the Steelers and Colts played? They had a HUGE call go against them (Polamalu intercepted a pass that was overturned and ruled incomplete - the NFL and the officials all later said that the call was blown). Pittsburgh could have caved in but they regrouped and finally held off the Colts.

What they should do with this situation is they should go into Pittsburgh get the Lambardi Trophy and than go to Haines Wards House get the MVP trophy...take it clear across the country to Seattle place the Super Bowl trophy in the clubhouse of the seahawks and than give all the fans of Seattle the MVP trophy because the seahawks got robbed....

It's July. The Seahawks lost the game. Get over it! A true fan will admit defeat instead of coming up with excuses.

It doesn't matter who had more stats. It's who ends up with more points when the clock says 0:00. The officials didn't throw the game. They made some questionable calls. They're human, not perfect.

You get over it. The calls in question though ticky tacky were good calls by the book. Officiating itself is done by people who make mistakes. When the day comes when players play perfectly on every play, then the officials should be made to as well.

Time for Seattle fans to quit their whining and move on. While the officiating wasn't the greatest in the SB it didn't cost you the game. Get over it.

Oh Christ, STOP whining and grow up....it's DONE! The only explanation is that Pittsburg beat Seattle!
If stats won Super Bowls, then Dan Marino would have won at least ONE.

Thats one of the stupidest things I've ever heard. Seattle didn't play like they wanted to win and they didn't.
