I have a DVD burner but for some weird reasons, it doesn't burn DVD- discs, only DVD+ ones. Why is that?

most DVD burners burn only on specific types of dics, DVD- or DVD+, only a few burn both

if you want to burn DVD-, you'll have to get a new DVD burner or you can get one that burns both

Some DVD burners will burn only DVD+ or DVD-, so please check the manual of the DVD Burner and make sure that it will burm the DVD- also.

The other reason I can think of is Speed, some DVD burners can burn DVD'd of a specific speed, so please check that in the manual too, or let me know the model number.
