I always like to recomment Tibia, it is just a 2D MMORPG but the game play is just simply challenging and fun. It required the player to type out the spell in order to cast it, e.g. "Adevo Grav Flam" for grand fireball. It need a good memorizing skill as well as typing speed. You can also fish for your own food, join guild, and etc. Since last time I'd played, there were only 4 worlds, but now it has been boosted up to 72 world, worth to give a try and it is absolutely free...

World of Warcraft is a great game yeah, if you want to pay $15 a month. Guild Wars is good, and its free online play.
