I am currently in a relationship where I am supported financially, but if you're ready to leave then you need to get up and leave and find your own way to support yourself. Don't let that be the reason for you staying.

This question doesn't hold alot of info. re. the person remaining home.......if you are not happy and being financially supported by a husband, why are you unhappy? If you have children it makes a huge difference on what you do. If it is just you, then go to school and find a job that you would enjoy and create some financial security for yourself. You are very vague on the unhappiness part......remember the other person could always feel unhappy and some day up and decide to leave....leaving your financial support not so secure.
