The ones facing murder charges injected the patients with a deadly cocktail to kill them. All other circumstances such as too many patients or patients refusing treatment i understand. The doctors had no right to kill them

Wow, I think the government is simply looking for a scapegoat.
The medical providers should not be charged. They were never trained to work under circumstances such as Katrina in this country. They did the best they could under the circumstance. But law is law and they took an oath, so unfortunately blame will fall upon doctors.

I definitely think that the punishment is just. I mean the whole idea of doctors is to care for their patients. Everyone knew the hurricane was coming and yet they did nothing. Those people could have been saved, instead they were left alone to die.

They had to answer one of the questions a doctor should be ready for, but cannot be trained for. I believe the charges are justified, but the judgement should be lenient. If they had risked their own lives to save others they might have lost skilled medics who would be needed later.

That is a tough question. I believe that that racist, stupid, ignorant mayor.. Nagin should be held responsible for all of it but again.. He gets off Scot free. As to your question.. I believe of course that Nagin should be charged wilth murder but as far as the medical personnel there.... it was murder...It would have been better to just let them be and die on their own but againi..I always go back to that racist Mayor Nagin.. HE IS the one responsible. and I hope very very sincerely that he ROTS IN HELL

No. The charges are in accordance with the law. The prosecutor would be derilect in his duty if he did not file them. Now it is up to a court of law to determine whether or not they are guilty as charged.
