am 15.i dont get beatings or anythin..just 6 to 8 swats with a ping pong bat,for stuff like swearing or smart mouthing.
just thought i was only one gettin um i guess.

Depends on how old you are, teenage years are the hardest for most parents, your parent or who ever is doing the spanking should know there are other alternatives to showing discipline. If you have a hand raised at you in anger,in public, in front of friends, or any kind of Non-fabricated situation you feel is not right.
The (spankings that are reli embarrassing) turn into ABUSE. NO one should have to deal with that. Just remember there are people out there that haven't got over their past, no matter how
much it may hurt them they hold on for fear that it will never change. In fact if they are able to look at their past and understand that sh*t happens and it all molds us for the future
generations they would see it is with out a doubt WRONG. If non of this applies.........then Just remember when you point at someone you have one finger pointing out their problems but you have three back at your self and your thumb either backs up your pointer or it shows you your pointing at the wrong person. I hope the best for you just don't do it to your children! I have taken care of all!! ages of children even if their age wasn't considered young. There has never been a need to do such an act. I don't know if you're a guy or girl butt, you're not alone. I know one family where all four boys are spanked. They are currently 11, 13, 15, and 17. They are spanked by there Dad with his hand, or belt, or most of the time he uses his paddle. He spanks them on their briefs. His brother spanks his three teenage sons as well. I know others who still spank. So you are not the only one.

Ive been spanked!!! lol I totally do not believe in spanking. My son is 15 years old and I think he only got 2 spankings his entire life and its been many years since then!!! I think taking away things they love is a much better punishment than using violence! I agree withyou- noone should get apnkings if there is another way to handle it. Tell your parents how embarrassing it is to you.

really a person should have no reason to be spanked at that kind of age,,spanking is more for children that be taught with words,,now i dont know what youre doing but its clear that your parents may need to try and find other ways to punish you,,you are too old for spankings,,my mom did slap me a few times when i was a teen though,,lol.

Yo my dad gave me some serious whooping clear up to 9th grade, after that it was Push-up and runing in place and holding buckets of water and six inches, I would rather get the whooping. I'll be whooping my kids to so your not the only one. It's good for us and it shows our parents love us enough to dicipline us.

I was spanked by my parents until i was about 12 then after that it was "grounded" instead of a spanking. I think after that age it is to much to still be given a spanking.

You don't say how old you are, or whether you're male or female. But you might be surprised how many girls, even these days, still get parental spankings well into their late teens.

dont get in any type of trouble that would result in you getting spanked.....when my son gets old enough to understand he will be spanked when necessary...so no...your not the only one who still gets it once in a while....the kids who dont get spanked seem to turn out in a bad way so consider yourself lucky that your parent love you enough to make you a better person.
