I'm not a braves fan (yankee fan), but I have to admit...... They r doing their thing right now. They would probobly win it if they keep up like this. I hope they do so they can make the playoffs more exciting.

It's what the Braves do. They always do mediocre the first half of the season, and then after the All-Star break they wipe up the division. I'm impressed at the scoring they put up, but not suprised at the fact that they are winning. Wild Card? No. Division? For the 15th season in a row. It's gonna happen, just you watch.

The Braves have been amazing. Everybody is killing the ball as they have hit 19 homers the last 5 games! I have never seen a team score double digit runs in consecutive games like they have done. Yes I believe they not only can get the wild card, but can possibly catch the Mets for yet another division title!

The Braves performance over the past 5 games is amazing considering our lack of a bullpen. And yes we definitely have a shot at the wild card and the division. We need to improve ourselves at the deadline though.

Yeah they have a chance at the wild card. If they get Soriano i think they will win the world series. The Jones' have had the pressure for the past few years, and still do i personally think. If they had Soriano that would take a lot of pressure off them. I think they can make the wild card if Andrew Jones has a good 2nd half ... Sure looks like hes gonna. Hope this helps ya.

Wild Card? How about the division? It happened last year when the Cleveland Indians made up that huge difference to almost catch the White Sox and it can very well happen here, especially if the Braves keep scoring in the double digits and playing as well as they are!

The last 5 games have been impressive for the Braves, but they don't necessarlly have the Mets hearing the beat of the tomtom drum yet. Maybe when they make that deficit down to low single digits or if they get that bullpen figured out, then I think the Mets should be concerned.

They are actually 9-1 over the last ten games....they have been kicking the #@%$ out of the Cards the last two nights.....they are only what 3 out of the wild card?......going to be hard to catch the Mets....unless the pull a Philly like fall like in the 60s or a Red Sox fall like in 1978.......they will make the playoffs with the wild card...........GO YANKEES!!

Not sure on the wild card, but they have been playing so much better. I'm slowly becoming a fan as I just recently moved here to Atlanta from Dallas where I was a fan of the Texas Rangers who are also doing very well. =)

"unlucky" mistakes?? Please. And the decision on Posey changed into so close that no man or woman even argued it on the time. only the great sluggish mo HD view revealed that the tag changed into utilized a microsecond prior to Posey touching the bag. or perhaps then, it only meant a runner on 2d. The Braves - no longer the umps - did not keep him there. do no longer make excuses for the Braves. They committed mistakes and couldn't do some thing antagonistic to Lincecum. Even then, it changed into nonetheless as close as a activity may be. And it is only activity one. of route the Braves can win activity 2. yet so can the Giants.

I ve been trying to tell these morons for weeks not to count my braves out, but my comments fell upon deaf ears. well, i bet those idiots are listening now!! to anybody that has counted the braves out( and there's a lot of you ), just look back to 1993 when the giants had a 14 game lead at the break. all the braves did was play damn near .700 ball the 2nd half and advanced to the playoffs while the giants sat at home and cried. mets fans? puh-lease. every year the mets spend ungodly amounts of cash to finish in or near the cellar. well, history has a way of repeating itself. the mets WILL slump and the braves will be waiting. the braves already had their slump, it was called june( 6W-21L ). LOOK OUT national league, here we come!!!!
