Your slap won't do any good. The Republican Party has been painting a picture that they will bring the country sharply to the right. After thirty-five years of basicly Republican majority rule, what do you see that's so much more conservative?

We live by political corectness. Criminals are felt sorry for and given good jobs when they get out. People come from foreign countries and wind up with more than we do. Everybody thinks they are owed something.

I would have to say "slap both" and go with a third party. They make more differance than you think, even if they don't get elected. Consider for a moment, the race between Gore and Bush. If Ralph Nader hadn't been in the race, it's a no brainer that those votes would NOT have gone to Bush. Nader basically gave you your president.

You don't think the mainstream parties pay attention to that? It can make the differance in who gets in and who doesn't!

Pretty soon it is not going to matter, the neo-cone seem to be the ones who do not understand that we are all in this boat together, an they are the ones who too soon will be losing their voice in politics. You have burned too many people. As far as having short memories, mine goes all the way back to 1957. I know what both sides have done; I can also tell you this the Religious Right have never done one damn thing for the people other then condemn them and got in the way of progress. I wounder if you have ever heard the phrase having won all the battles and lost the war. That is what you guys are doing. You are losing it. Pretty soon we are going to be in so much serious trouble that we will not be able to stand the neo-con idealistic simplicity, and we will demand competence. That is why Bush's ratings are so low.

It seems that the conservatives need to have some sense slapped into them, since they seem to have forgotten the fact that it was Osama bin Laden, not Saddam Hussein, who was responsible for the 9/11 attacks and they still manage to convince themselves that global warming is a myth. I guess the heat has just gone to their brains!
