If you ask a "chatty" question, you risk getting it removed. For instance, if you asked "It's really hot out, what should I do?". It's not that you are chatting, it's that the question is chatty. In otherwords, it's a question on personal opinion, or personal preferences.

If you got removed twice, review the question through the eyes of somebody at Yahoo judging whether it violates their guidelines.

That being said, I just had an answer removed for a response I gave about a 70's TV series, the reason being "advertisement". I stated the name of the actor they were referring to, and gave them a link on wikepedia where they could fine more information. I have no idea why they did that, so I e-mailed a protest.

Yes, and I was a bit perturbed.

The question I asked (in the singles and dating section) was on the *exact* same topic as a question I recently responded to (that question, incidentally, is still in play).

My theory is that it is a bit of a double standard. Some woman probably got her nickers in a twist over a man asking such a thing but are only to happy to provide information to another female asking for advice on the same subject.

Someone must've reported your question..

Yep, it already happened to me! Not only my question got erased, I also had an answer that was erased because a person found it offending... and up to now I can't understand what's offending with my answer "press your thumb as hard as you can" when asked about holding one's pee...

I hope Yahoo! would do something about it. They should first check the content of the question/answer if it really is offending before deleting them..

I had that happen once so far - I had typed in something about getting to the next level of points (I was excited about it!) & one person complained because it "wasn't a true question". So my question, which had 20-some responses at the time, got removed. I was ticked off!!! Just keep doing what you do & hopefully you won't get bumped anymore!!!
