All of the above.

Why would you want to hide the political situation of the world from those who are going to be running it in a few short years?

Children need to know about all the wars that have taken place. That's how we learn from the past. It's a sad fact that we have to endure it, but it is a realistic one and children do need to know.
When the first Gulf War happened, I learned about it the hard way because my dad faced the possibility of going over there because he was in the army. I think kids need to know about what is going on in the world.

all of them when they get older. Especially Iraq. I'll tell my kids the truth, we were attacked, and George Bush had the courage to fight back like a man. How many more attacks would there be if we didnt defend ourselves, maybe ur city would be next. A car u or ur kids riding in, maybe a train or in a building. WE ARE SAFER NOW. War SUCKS.
but you choose,
THEM OR US.

Ifin I had kids, I would tell them about the war that nobody showed up to and hope that they would follow this ideal.
The crying is never over the Generals, is over all the soldiers and people that either showed up or got in the way of those that did choose to.

I've told my 5 year old daughter about the Iraq war. The others are too complicated for her to understand.

I think its important that she sees reality, I don't hide it from her, maybe she can come up with a solution to war when she grows up.
