Not likely. Especially with the recent injuries to Shannon Stewart and Torii Hunter. They have a couple of great starting pitchers and a good closer, but that won't be enough to overcome their poor start. Even after going on that nice winning streak, the Twins only made up a few games on their division foes. The Tigers and White Sox will both continue to win and the Twins will be on the outside looking in at the end of the season.

Not this season...in order for the Twins to win the wild card they would have to catch either the Yanks or Sox (both very good second half teams) and either the White Sox or Tigers (if they make the proper trades, both will be hard to beat). With all of the Twins recent injuries, it won't happen...even with their amazing pitching!

Sorry man, this is how its going to go in the AL.

West- Angels
Central- Tigers
East- Red Sox
WC- Yankees

If the white sox win the central then its certain the twins won't make it. If Detroit can hold on, then the twins have a chance. They need to beat Chicago and NY first though...

No they will not because torii hunter and shannon stewart are injuried. if they plan on taking the wild card they will have to continue beating the usual teams they play and when playing tigers and white sox they have to beat them. also they are gonna need alittle help from the Al East for either New York or Boston to completely blow up and not take the wild card.

I think if the season started today they would be right up there but I think its too far in the season and they have a lot of competition to get in. Baseball is hard to make the playoffs in because they only take 4 teams from each league. They have the best 1-2 punch in baseball but that isnt gonna beenough to get them in. They need more consistency at the end of the rotation.

Nope. Third team in a division where the top 2 are going to make the playoffs.

Loss to many games early and White Sox and Tigers are to far in front. It would be nice to see but I don't think it will happen this year.

Unfortunatley they will not - they need some more core players and are gonna lose some I am sure to the yankees or elsewhere - they need to bring in a solid bat

It is possible....but they have to beat The White Sox to do it.

That is a tough task.

Good luck.
