I don't. I'm a toothpaste squeezer. I only roll it up when it's just about empty so I can get the last bit out.

I don't use toothpaste in a tube most of the time. But when I do, no I don't roll it, I flatten it.

Flatten first, then roll. Then squeeze the *guano* out of it to get the very last smidgen of toothpaste out of the tube.
