I know many are going to say (or have said) MLK's "I have a Dream" speech but the story behind it is why it's my favorite quote.

He was pretty much a no name and who ever was supposed to talk that day backed out -- so literally 15 min before - MLK was asked to talk - so he literally wrote the whole thing in the car on the way there 15 min before he stepped on the podium.
