Hmm, since they've got a rookie QB, no legitmate #1 WR (McCardell is a #2, always has been), and a secondary that couldn't cover Gary Coleman and Emmanuel Lewis, I'm thinking they'll be lucky to go .500 this year. They're a team on their way up, but they've got some holes to fill first. Oh, and they will NEVER go all the way playing Marty-ball.

My guess is ZERO until Rivers can prove to the NFL that he's a capable QB. Knowing Schottenheimer, he will keep things simple for the guy, but somewhere down the line, that offensive playbook has to be opened up, and until Rivers can show that he can run the show, I'm not sold on San Diego

None I mean when was the last time those players won a meaningful game. Hell when was the last time the Chargers won a meaningful game? In 04 the couldn't even beat the JETS at San Deigo in a playoff game and the didn't make it to the playoffs in 05 so when are they going to win meaningful games? My guess is not this year

Rivers is unproven, but if he can be as good or better than Brees, than the Chargers are the team to beat in the AFC West.

Same team as last year minus the starting QB and they did not make the playoffs...must really be making other teams worry!! They are an underacheiving bunch and I would not be at all suprised if they did not make the playoffs again this year, especially with a first year starter at QB.

Rivers? Who is that... Oh yeah that second year, no game time, bench warmer. Good luck with him. Looks like another Ryan Leaf to me!
